Akane meets the Shogun - Akane Concept Art #2

This time is an interior scene that is supposed to happen inside the capital's castle, where the Shogun lives.
The architecture and art are partially based on the Heian Era in Japan, despite I wanted to have some freedom and take references and use them in different ways.
Also, the Shogun figure is rather an entity than a particular person in the story. We will never see his appearance, so he won't have a physical description. His character development is going to be more based on what he says, how he acts and his decisions in the main story. I wanted to show that idea in this concept, we know there's a powerful person behind those curtains and there's power emanating from there, but we will never see him.
